I made this cute purse using materials supplied with my Cath Kidston 'Stitch!' book and it was my first attempt at cross stitch! Loved it! Now I smile even more each time I look down at my Cath Kidston bag containing my Cath Kidston purse, make up bag, folder, hand cream.... OBSESSED

Made With Love... Friendships are made one stitch at a time
This is the bag that I mentioned in my earlier post about Cute Vintage Labels!
Three things that make me happy... polka dots, ribbon and cute labels!
Made With Love... a home made Christmas
I made Gerry Giraffe for Harrison's very first Christmas present and he went down really well! I made the pattern up and kept it really simple, using ribbon tabs and different texture materials to keep inquisitive fingers entertained!
The drawstring bag was made using French seams and material from Owl and Sewing Cat (The material is so fun that when I saw it I just had to make the bag to go with it!) I used felt and bonda web for the 'H' and the buttons just for added prettiness!
I love French Seams - so simple when you know how and if you don't own an overlocker they finish seams beautifully! There is a great tutorial on Sew Neau - check it out!
Made With Love... Cute top for my Isabella
I found the pattern for this top on the Burda website and had to make it!! My daughter looks absolutely gorgeous in it with a little stripy top underneath (it is winter) and jeans or leggings! I want to make more for friends little ones using different fabric and perhaps try to lengthen the pattern in order to make a dress! dress!
Made With Love... A spotty bean bag for my Isabella
I made this bean bag using a pattern from the Cath Kidston 'Sew!' book for my daughter Isabella! It was relatively easy to make and I enjoyed doing it! I did make a bit of a mess with the polystyrene balls but great fun! And it was the first time that I inserted a zip and it went well too - happy times!
A thrifty cake stand...
My beautiful cake stand... parts sought out from second hand shops and boot fairs and remade by my best friend and her Mummy... Thank you Emily and Lynn xx
Made With Love... Harrison's blue bunny
I made bunny for my very good friends little boy Harrison. I love him (even if I do say so myself) I had a picture of what I wanted to make in mind and was really pleased with the results! I used a blue canvas material for the body and a brushed cotton for the belly and velvet for the ears so that the texture would be interesting for new born baby fingers!
